About this product

A polished stone gua sha for face and neck, in jade or rose quartz.

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese practice: a smooth-edged stone drawn slowly across oiled skin to move lymph, ease muscle tension and bring blood to the surface. On the face it is done with light pressure, and most people notice less morning puffiness and a more relaxed jaw within a week of daily use. This is a hand-shaped, responsibly sourced stone with a rounded edge for cheeks and a notched edge that fits the jawline and brow.

Who this is for

  • Puffiness under the eyes and along the jaw in the morning
  • Tight jaw, temples and neck from clenching or desk work
  • You use a facial oil and want it worked in properly
  • A five-minute evening ritual that actually calms you down

How to use

  • Clean skin, a few drops of oil. Hold the stone nearly flat and stroke from the center of the face outward and up, three to five passes per area
  • Finish down the sides of the neck. Wipe clean, store dry. Chill in the fridge for a cooling version
  • Jade: the classic, balancing stone
  • Rose Quartz: the gentle, calming stone, often chosen for sensitive skin
