About this product

Raw bee pollen granules, gathered by Bill's bees and packed straight into the jar.

Bee pollen is the pollen honeybees collect from flowers, pack into granules with a little nectar and carry home on their legs. Beekeepers collect it with a screen at the hive entrance. It is one of the most complete whole foods there is: protein with all the essential amino acids, B vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants, in a granule that tastes faintly sweet, floral and a little chalky. Traditionally taken for energy, stamina and seasonal wellness. This is raw, never heated, from hives in Southern California.

Who this is for

  • You want a whole-food source of protein and B vitamins in your smoothie
  • Seasonal allergy sufferers following the traditional local-pollen practice
  • Athletes and anyone who runs out of energy mid-afternoon
  • Adding to yogurt, oatmeal or salads for texture and nutrition

How to use

  • Start with a few granules a day and work up to a teaspoon, to check for sensitivity
  • Eat plain, or stir into yogurt, smoothies or over oatmeal. Do not cook it
  • 8 oz jar. Keep sealed in a cool, dry place or the fridge
  • Not for anyone with a bee or pollen allergy. Not for infants under one year
