Buzzin's bees work the citrus bloom after the almonds finish each spring, and the honey comes off the hive raw and unheated, so the pollen, enzymes and aroma stay in. It is the one to reach for in tea, over yogurt or in a vinaigrette.

Buzzin Apiaries is run by Colton Rocha in Gustine, California, thirty-five miles from our Modesto store. It started as his high-school 4-H project and has grown to about a thousand hives.
