Chrisman Apiaries' raw California honey infused with chili peppers. The heat builds slowly behind the sweetness rather than hitting all at once, which is what makes hot honey so easy to use: it goes on pizza, fried chicken, roasted vegetables, cheese boards, biscuits and cornbread, and into salad dressings and cocktails.

The base is the same completely raw honey as the rest of the line: never heated, never filtered, with the pollen and enzymes intact. Chili adds capsaicin, which traditional cooking has long valued for waking up the appetite and the circulation. No corn syrup, no artificial flavor.

1 lb glass jar. Raw, unfiltered, infused with chili. It may crystallize over time; set the jar in warm water to re-liquefy. Not for children under one year.
