This is the classic cookie with one upgrade: toffee, which melts into the dough as it bakes and leaves pockets of buttery caramel next to the chocolate. Tori bakes in small batches from scratch, the way you would at home, with none of the preservatives or dough conditioners that keep a packaged cookie soft on a shelf for months. It is made to be eaten the day it arrives or the day after.
